P.A.L.S. occasionally attends other community events to spread the word about the network. Here are some pictures to share about how we connect with and support other organization and groups.


OCTOBER 2016 - HAMILTON DOWN SYNDROME ASSOCIATION WALK

 

Tracy Sherriff, Casey, Foote Georgia Tomlinson, and Sherri Crechiola represented P.A.L.S. at this great event again this year. Gwen Miller and Cathy Letman were proud volunteers to the P.A.L.S. sensory/activity tent as well. Activities included sensory mirrors,  playdough, dino hunting, pool noodle stringing and more.

September 2015 - Down Syndrome Association of Hamilton Walk

Tracy Sherriff, Casey Foote, Georgia Tomlinson, Kathryn Brownlow and Sherri Crechiola represented P.A.L.S. at this event.

In addition P.A.L.S. and a set of volunteers planned and provided a sensory tent for the little ones at the walk. Children explored a wide variety of activities  - coloured sand, playdough, colouring, sand play with rocks and twigs, sensory bags, pool noodle stringing and more.

JUNE 2015 - A VOICE FOR ALL TELEVISION SHOW WITH JAMEELAH GAMBLE -

ROGER CABLE 14 MISSISSAUGA

Tracy Sherriff was honoured to be included in the guest line-up for season 4 of "A Voice For All" in June of this year to represent P.A.L.S.  Although Jam typically promotes community organizers and disability advocates in the Peel Region, she wanted to give P.A.L.S. a voice to share their story.  Anyone can attend a workshop of interest.  As long as your willing to travel we include anyone and everyone!

MARCH 2015 - BIG DREAMS:I AM

Tracy Sherriff celebrated World Down Syndrome Day with the Hamilton Down Syndrome Association at their Big Dreams: I am special event.  Local groups representing various services and programs for children with various disabilities were featured.  For a full list of the event partners click here.

SEPTEMBER 2014 - "THE WALK" -DOWN SYNDROME ASSOCIATION OF HAMILTON BOOTH

Georgia Tomlinson, Casey Foote and Tracy Sherriff spent the day at Hamilton's Bayfront Park sharing information about The P.A.L.S.
